Dripping Springs is a scenic town located approximately 30 miles from Austin at the gateway to Hill Country. It's a countryside of rare beauty featuring rare wildlife, rock bottom creeks and picturesque farm lands. The town was named by one of the original settlers after a branch of the Edwards Aquifer, a naturally occurring source of water, mostly contained underground.
