About Adeal Benhayoun

My life and works have been defined by many wonderful travels and an exotic education. I moved from Casablanca at the age of 18 to begin my higher education in Belgium, then relocated to Tours in France, where I graduated with a degree in Materials of Science from the University of Francois Rabelais. I then moved to Oxford, England where I pursued my studies at Oxford Academy. After six months in Oxford, I decided to cross the Atlantic to Gainesville, Florida. Four months later, I drove across the southern U.S.to find my way to Austin, Texas, eager to continue my college education at the University of Texas.

I graduated from U.T. with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and then began to pursue a master's degree in Petroleum Engineering. I decided to move on from engineering, because a job opportunity arose with a software company that I could not refuse. But then, I realized that I wanted to contribute more to society, and that's when I made the courageous decision to start teaching math and science at the middle-school level. My friends said it was a good choice for me, since I had the knowledge and skills required for such a fulfilling and exciting job.

My teaching experience made me realize that I was successful at helping people in a step-by-step process to attain their own goals and to achieve success; however, I wanted to explore my entrepreneurial desires. Becoming an Austin realtor seemed to be the next logical step for me, as it involved helping people to start new lives, as well as educating them to be able to make informed and intelligent decisions about one of the largest investments of their lives—a new home.
